Wainui Coast
Orongorongo Coast
From Wellington, the Wainuiomata Coast is accessed via the Wainui Coast Road which ends at the entrance to Orongorongo Station. Vehicle access past that point requires the permission of the station owners.
At the Wairarapa end the Wainui Coast has public access from Ocean Beach to Windy point, stay on the coastal track as the in-land areas are private property. Please do not drive on the inland sand dunes or hillsides.
